~ Big Brother is watching you.... ~
I recently discovered flightstats.com - awesome website if you or someone you know flies a lot. Basically it can replicate the information you see on the onboard maps on the planes. Just type in the flight number and you get information on exactly where a plane is at any given time, the speed, height, etc, so you can literally watch it from takeoff to landing. If you have the time. There's loads of other (slightly more boring) info like latitude and longitude, fuel levels etc, but all-in-all, a good site.
I have now been sitting in Chicago O'Hare for 5 hours, so it's unsurprising that a little piece of news like this seems enormously important to me. At the moment, I'm watching the flight my 5 colleagues are on coming in to land. The only problem is that the website sometimes takes a moment or two to update, so you're never sure if the plane is still moving or if it's just stopped in mid-air. *Gulp*
