This week, Chris and I were discussing his lack of DIY experience. Seriously, not to cut on my new husband here, but I am WAAAY better than he is at this stuff. But to give him credit, he is really trying to improve and learn.

At one point he decided to share with me his previous life's philosophy on this subject: "Well in the past I haven't been much of a DIY person, I have been more of a YDI (you do it)person."

In short, pay someone 100 pounds to do something that would cost us 20. Sometimes I am really my mother's daughter.
