My church opened our new auditorium this weekend. The church also has a new website which I somehow made it onto. I didn't even know until Danny came back this weekend and told me about it. It's kind of strange and cool at the same time. I have to commend everyone who worked so hard for a week straight in order to get the new building ready. I know that very little sleep was to be had by many of them. I sang on Praise Team for the new services and it was an amazing experience. The building is great but the best part is the sound. A company from Nashville designed everything for us and they did one bang up job. The stage itself is so huge which will be great for large productions in the future, but I do miss the intimacy with the musicians. They feel so far away now. We have live feed cameras that display onto the large screens on either side of the stage. They make us all look like rock stars, especially Dave on bass. During one upbeat song in the service I almost got teary-eyed at the thought of leaving this wonderful church. It's a place I really love and I am fearful of not finding something like it in London. So, I continually tell myself that God will provide. He did brilliantly 5 years ago when I was looking for a church so why wouldn't He do it again.
