~ DVDs and other techy stuff ~
Has anyone else noticed that people who are not familiar with techy stuff say things more slowly? Like with DVDs; if people like my parents refer to them, they say D-V-D really slowly; they do the same with, I don't know, words like COM-PU-TER or LAP-TOP. These are also the sort of people who attempt to play DVDs in the video recorder, or in some extreme cases the toaster. I say this as someone who has nowhere near as much techy knowledge as I should have, so I have no right to be smug.

I reckon you can work out exactly how many DVDs someone has by how fast they say "DVD". The faster they say it, the more they have.

Silly I know, but I am stuck in Austria and there's nothing to do except think of silly things. Oh, and aol with Steph, which I am doing while I write :)
