It's been over a month since Chris and I last saw each other. I think that I am so used to seeing him at least once a month that mentally I can't quite figure out why he isn't here. I got up this morning to get ready for church but then chose to stay home instead. My church is pretty large (one can come and go and no one will have noticed you were there) and I don't usually see anyone to sit with in the crowd so I end up sitting by myself. I just didn't want to sit by myself again today. It makes me feel single and I'm not and it makes me miss Chris even more. In case you were wondering, he is in Austria at the moment and can't come back until July 21.

Here are some random tidbits:

Angie keeps inviting me to the pool but I haven't had time to go until today. It was a blast. Embarrassingly, I blended in with the white of the pool chair. :-)

I have most of this week off work in order to have wedding meetings. It's so much fun planning the wedding(s) and I am looking forward to getting lots of little details done this week.

Gossip is the devil's playground and Christians who do it are some of the most disappointing people to me on the planet. It's amazing how they fool themselves with justifications.

Our engagement announcement was in the Richmond paper a couple of weeks ago. They are notorious for messing things up and I am happy to report that their reputation lives on. First of all, they changed our wording to something that makes it sound like my late father is announcing our engagement. Ummm, not possible. And secondly, we were listed under birth announcements. When mom brought it home we laughed until we cried. I'll scan it in and show it to you all.
