Some of you will remember my post asking where my friend Joe should move. Well, Texas fell through unfortunately so it turns out that he's moving to Kuala Lumpur. Apparently there's lots of oil in the Borneo area and he's the man for the job. I know this because yesterday we were singing in Groningen, small town in the north of Holland, and Joe, his lady Hermoine, and friends Chevy and Joyce came along to our concert. It was one of the concerts we do with our Turkish friends (we did 11 in the US last October) and although I can appreciate that they make wonderful music in their own style, and do it very very well, it's just not something I like. In the same way that I don't like rap, I suppose. It's fair enough if you do like it, but I have to be honest and say that I don't.
Which makes me all the more grateful when friends come to see those concerts - so here's an internet thank you to Joe and Hermione, Chevy and Joyce, for putting up with a lot of wailing and not much else for 2 hours! Oh, and I'll be over to see you in KL with my beautiful new bride at some point.
