Well, I thought I would have more time to post in England but I was so wrong. From Thursday on we were hardly in London at all. We were busy busy! I'll save a play by play for a future post; right now I just don't have the energy for it. Jet lag is rough. For those who haven't experienced a 5 hour time change (or more), you feel like you are walking around doped up on heavy doses of Benadryl. Everything seems a bit fuzzy and your brain is working veeery slowly. I got home a little after 5 on Tuesday, fell asleep and didn't wake up until 7am. That is a record for me, I think.
Other than the jetlag I have felt kind of down since I got back. I usually do for a couple of days after Chris and I have been together a lot. In fact, we both get a little grumpy about it. It's really funny. Being in London together, running around doing wedding things, visiting our house in Greenwich and all the other practical things we did just gave me a taste of what building a life together in England will be like. Of course planning a wedding isn't real life, it's just fun, but everything else we did was working towards our future and it was just great. I really love that man and I miss that man. It's getting harder to be apart. So for now I am in the dumps a bit, but once I am not tired anymore I am sure I will bounce back and just deal with it like I have been doing. It's hard when the man who has your heart is so many miles away. But it won't be forever. We'll have our life. I never forget how lucky we are and thank God daily for bringing us together.
