~ Happy St. George's Day! ~
Today is of course the English national day, when we celebrate St. George's marvellous slaying of the terrible dragon that used to terrorise England years and years ago. It's pretty close to the Queen's birthday (Her Maj. celebrated her 80th on Friday) so we're all full of patriotic pride and there are lots of flags about over here, which doesn't happen all the time.
When we move to America I reckon I'm going to miss the Royal Family, especially the Queen; I think she's done a great job, although I'm looking forward to Prince Charles getting a go at being King. He's a fantastic man and does an incredible amount of good for people who are in need, as well as highlighting important problems and suggesting ways to make our country better. I'm really glad he finally managed to marry the woman he loves, too. I get to do that this summer, so why shouldn't he?
